New Digital CCTV Processing System Delivers

Professional Witnesses Ltd has taken delivery of a new Digital CCTV processing system called the DARS, supplied by Daetech Systems (UK) ltd, a leader in the field of CCTV video recovery and image forensic processing and analysis.

The DARS system plays back digital CCTV from a pre installed database covering hundreds of proprietary players, formats and files, outputting to industry standard formats including DVD to be used for intelligence or evidence presentation in a court of law. The DARS is also capable of creating compilations, titling and highlighting of offenders or incidents.

The important thing for us is that virtually no matter what the digital imagery was recorded on, it can be converted quickly into a format that we can store on our database. This is particularly useful for all our friends in Post Offices and other retailers where the format of digital recorders varies considerably.
