Anti-social behavior
Between the dates of 15th-26th November 2005, two under cover operatives occupied a council property provided by the local authorities.
There were reports of anti-social behaviour within an estate in the area and evidence of this was required in order to obtain ASBO’S. The Operation was a huge success and as a result the evidence gathered was of great value to the Police and local authorities. The footage showed incidents of young offenders making life unbearable for local residents whilst riding around the estate on mini motorbikes, quad bikes and other types of motor vehicles. The activity would last on average 4-6 hours a day and often into the night time.
The operation also revealed that there was a worrying drugs problem within the estate. This was evidenced in the amount of footage that was obtained during the operation. The footage revealed further evidence of offenders involved in the supply of controlled substances. Drugs were openly being supplied and passed between dealers in open view of concerned residents and passersby.
As a result of this Operation senior Police officers and the Anti-social behaviour Unit used the evidence provided by Professional Witnesses for legal proceedings against the person(s) involved in the aforementioned Criminal activity.
